Cleo has no interest in people food but Akira is interested enough for the both of them.
When I first brought her home she was only a month old, once she discovered my food she was like a monster.
I had my plate in my lap while watching TV, I gave her the first piece and she went nuts after eating it she climbed up my leg and dived into my plate. I picked her up by the scruff of her neck to remove her.
She was back up in the middle of my plate before I could sit up straight and I repeated this several times. She was quite nasty fighting and growling the whole way.
She eventually got the message but she continues to get in as close as she can before I shoo her away.
She's 3 years old now
I've tried to get her to take food from my hand gently but she really goes for it and I often get bitten and scratched in the process.
Maybe someone has some ideas as to how I can get her to take the food more calmly.
I pull it back if she's going for it to aggressively but that makes her hiss and I'm not always fast enough
I'm not sure but could this have anything to do with her coming from a feral family, many of her siblings are also aggressive.
