Good luck with Josie!! My son used to have asthma because of his allergy to dust. It was so scary when he got an attack in the middle of the night... ; Since then, we have absolutely NO carpets in our house; it is all tiled. Yes, it's a bit cold on your feet, but a good pair of socks helps a lot !
Luckily, he grew out of it in his puberty
