Twas the Night before Xmas,
And on the PT site.
Members were posting,
Their kids by their side.

They were eagerly awaiting
The first signs of Claus-
At the first sound of reindeer,
They'd be up on their paws!

The stockings were hung by the chimneys with care,
My cats were hoping catnip would soon be put in there!
My cats were all nestled snug in my bed,
Visions of tuna and catnip danced in their heads

While the dog was snoozing in front of the fire
He dreamed of the things that he really desired.
Like rawhides and greenies and great big bones
He wanted to be royal like a cat on their throne.

The kitties were sleeping, all over the place
You could see Xmas dreams written all over their face.
I snuck to my bedroom and took off my ball cap
And settled my brain for a long winter's nap

When down in the kitchen there arose such a clatter,
The kittens had knocked down the good turkey platter!
Down to the kitchen I intended to go
Oh what a mess... you couldn't know!
