Oh my gosh Richard, I just had a flashback. One Christmas years ago my Dad requested Pork Hocks. For those of you who don't know, they are actually pigs feet that are boiled and I think Mom added some spices and stuff. It actually was quite good but looked like something my cat brought up. Took a few days to get the stink out of the house.

...and that was the last time my Mom broke from tradition....
