    YEAH!!!! ANDY'S HOME!!!!
    Yet another miracle performed!!
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, champagne in one hand and strawberries in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and screaming WOO HOO - What a Ride!

Andy I'm so relieved your home safe and sound. Now Mum has you in her clutches - boy you'd better eat!!! It's going to be much easier isn't it - Mum's cooking!!! Yummy!!

Just take good care of yourself - excercise, rest and eat - lovely to have you back where you belong.

    Love Lynne

I went out and visited Andy Sunday evening. He was chipper and very mobile.

We played kissy face on the couch for a bit.

He doesn't really sit in one place for a long time. He stands for periods of time and "zips" about the house, moving from chair to chair.

A physical therapist stopped by Sunday morning and gave Andy some paperwork on exercises he can do. He uses his right arm quite a bit but doesn't have full range of it yet. His incision hinders it a bit.

Which by the way is a lot bigger than we first thought. It's about a 5 inch incision that is stapled shut. Where the chest tube was inserted is two carved out 'holes'. We took pictures and I'll post links once his mom sends them to me. So those that are curious can look.

He's been packing in food, but you can't tell now of course. It'll be awhile before a noticable difference.

Andy's mom asked if I'd be visiting for Thanksgiving and before I could reply, Andy said 'only if Kia can come'. His mom agreed and that's that. Kia and I will be there for the weekend. I have that Thurs. and Friday off work.

So it'll be a nice 4 day weekend.

    Andy says hi!

Thanks, thanks and more thanks Kimmy! I guess this will be the best Thanksgiving you could wish for (under the circumstances). We are ALL thankful for the way things are turning out for you and yours this season I'm sure Kia will be in "good doggie" mode, even more so than usual
