    Sadly, one of the "mushroom pink" babies passed away yesterday.

    Val woke up to a mess this morning. One of the other pregnant girls gave birth to 5 solid black babies in the middle of the night. For some reason, the inexperienced mom chewed off one ear of one of the babies. Blood everywhere! The mom is being watched closely now. The injured baby has been cleaned up and given to the mom with the mushroom pink babies. They are all doing well. It is funny to see that one solid black baby in with all that "pinkness".
    Ask your vet about microchipping. ~ It could have saved Kuhio's life.

    I would call the kittens buff and, since she had SEVEN kittens, I'd call her a miracle worker!

    I'm so sorry to hear that one of the buff babies passed away. Hopefully the little black baby with the torn ear will be able to remain healthy. Please keep us updated.
