I know only too well the sorrow you are having right now. Many years ago, I had a dog I loved who had seizures. One day when I was at work, someone had poisoned her. The vet saved her life but the side effect was she would go into seizures without notice. By keeping her on medicine, I kept her for several years. Finally, her seizures got more frequent and finally she did like dear Breezy and was having several in an hour. She went into one at the vet's office and died there. I was with her when she went to the Rainbow bridge.
The point of this is I feel you did the right thing letting her go. My dog's seizures would be months apart but if Breezy was having that many, that close together and the vet couldn't help her, it was more loving to let her go.
If you've read any of my other posts, you know I am a firm believer of life after death for pets as well as people. I think our loved ones stay near us when they have passed over. When you think you hear and feel Breezy near you, she is. She is letting you know she is ok now and still loves you. Probably even thanking you for taking such good care of her. Well, I'm crying again. This has been a tough week for Pet Talk pets. You'll be in my prayers.
