I had a stitch check-up today; they are healing up fine (although she poked 'em and it hurt like crazy for 15 minutes afterward lol).
Since they didn't find out what was wrong, I have to go see a gastro-something-rather guy. Not too happy about that. (And, actually, I'm sort of thinking about just *not* going. I dunno, yet.)


Anyways, I'd love a mint hot-chocolate (sans marshiemellows)!

Zippy, sorry you had to go through the sir-jury - which sounds like a piece of cake next to the healing, burning, itchy stiches - just for them to tell you they didn't find what they were looking for. As we used to say, what a drag.

But congrats on going for your PhD if that's what you decide to do. Might as well get it over with while you're young, then you won't have to worry about it anymore.

So now that we've got Ms. Goose covered, where did Furry Holly Cracker go? I'll take another DOTD please Mr. Girdlehead.

I was hiding behind the bar trying to avoid tomatoes and/or pumpkin goop that may have been thrown my way If you are giving your hedgies salmon skin *salmon skin??* there must be some smoked salmon around. As long as I'm behind the bar let me sliiip OUCH, dern pumpkin guts into the kitchen and rustle up some bagels with smoked salmon and trimmings. Skip the capers though.. can't stand the nasty things. Hey Laurie, breakfast sounds good, but I'll take a pass on the salmon skin.

Wish me luck. Today I'm venturing into Lost and Found to bring out the Christmas boxes. If I'm not back in an hour, send in the rescuers. Maybe we can start getting the lights up around the bar. Next week we can put up the tree.

Guess I'd better make some more Baileys before the rest of the crowd shows up. It's going to be a great day today folks. Think positive.
