I am just now reading all of this, and I am so terribly sorry that Murph has departed from life as we know it, but I hope you can find some consolation by trusting that you two will meet again.

Lily is approx. the same age as Murph, and she is at this moment resting at my feet as I type this . . . I can't help wondering if she is silently suffering some ills of which she chooses to conceal . . . through my tears I asked her to P-L-E-A-S-E try to communicate if she ever feels badly . . . even though I know it is not a cat's nature . . . loving our pets so, whatever are we humans supposed to do??!!

My thoughts and prayers go out to you, and may you find solace in knowing that the bond you and Murph shared cannot be broken . . . ever.
