Yes, please keep us posted on Winter,
    How scary for you.
I am glad she is comming home and
    hope it is nothing serious.
I wonder if it could be allergies?
Sometimes Rocky and Pepper make these
horrible snorkling sounds that sound like
    they can not breeth.
    (reverse sneezing)
In their case it is allergy related depending on
the seasons, but it is scary sounding.

    Wishing Winter the very best!

    an update....

Well so far everything is going good with Winter. She was really out of it on Saturday and her throat was really really sore but because she was still feeling the effects of the gas she wouldn't drink no matter who begged her or how we begged her so she whimpered every now and then because of the soreness, and Smudge, well Smudge was being a very good older brother. He jumped up and sniffed her when we first brought her back in to the house and then he would go up and sniff her while she was lying down and he would try to clean where the doctors shaved some fur for the iv but Winter had her head there so finally he setteled for just curling up next to her on the couch and making the journey outside for bathroom trips with us (I had to carry her down the stairs, she was having enough problems walking on level ground )

Sunday her throat was a little soar still that we could tell when she startd to whimper after barking at my dad first thing in the morning but she spent the curled up with my mom and dad on the couch while I was spending the day with Smudge and my agility group. Of course when we came home she snuggeled with me and tried to play with Smudge but we had to stop that.

And today well today she seems like her normal self, we just have to try to keep her from barking and running (vets orders) and make sure she takes her meds something she loves to do when they are coated with peanut butter

We still aren't sure if it's kennel cough or what though, the vet thinks that her vaccine didn't catch in time and she caught the cough somewhere it's either that or something caught stuck and then became unstuck with all the coughing, either way when she coughed her tonsils came out of the pocket, and the vet said she would phone and tell us how the culture turns out in a week or so, plus they phoned yesterday to see how she is.

I'll let you guys know if we figure out what it was. Thanks for the prayers and stuff
