There are no-kill shelters in Ohio but I would not call - I would GO there or use e-mail. Many have such limited hours and calling is next to impossible. We used one in Middletown called P.A.W.S. - it is in the first link below, and they have been very good about answering e-mails. Calling just does not do any good - either they are closed or just too busy and understaffed to answer.
