I absolutely agree w/you that there is no such thing as a 'plain ol' tabby', which is why I added the "in the eyes of the world". It seems that people like kittens and puppies, not cats and dogs. Not all people, of course, but you know what I mean. Chessie is black and looks like a little panther, so I knew he wouldn't be difficult to place. These precious girls, Fraidy and Star, are rather plain looking and even my friends would say "Aaaaw, they're cute but look at HIM!" The 7 kittens from the other litter are all different w/unusual markings, no two look alike. But Fraidy and Star Kitty almost look like twins, except that Star Kitty has a marking in between her eyes that, when she was a kitten, looked like a star, hence her name. Now that she's grown older, though, it resembles a diamond. Diamond Girl would be a good name for her but she answers to Star Kitty. They both just want love and I just have to find a home for these babies. I won't stop trying. You can count on that.
