Question about Jasper's skin/fur...

Jasper is developing weird dark blotches/stripes on his back, some of it almost looks like brindle stripes.

He's eating right now so hopefully I can get a picture later.

I was wondering if theres any kind of skin disease/illness that causes dark blotches/stripes??

I really have no clue. I hope it's just something he gained with age.

Here's a picture I just took, it doesn't show up too well though, but it does a little.

Also Im not talking about the dark stripe in the middle of his back, as he's always had that, but the blotches are on the sides and on the back before his tail.

I think they're sun spots. Chester has them at the base of his ears on the backs, and one larger one on his side. These are different from his regular spots. These just appeared on him over time.

I think the kinda are. The vet said Chester got them because his hair is so thin in those areas. He actually has a lot more, but they just don't show up in pics. Also, he only has them where his brown hair is, none on the white.

Jasper's fur is thicker on his back, so I have no idea what this is!

Could it have anything to do with any of the medication Jasper is or was on?
