Christianity surrounds us everyday of our lives in this country. Around Christmas and Easter time, you cannot walk into any store without seeing Christmas trees or Easter eggs. (True, this really has a lot to do with the commercialization of our country), but my point is, this is done for Christian holidays, not Yom Kippur or Ramadan.
And I don't remember hearing about a single Christian attacked in the fuvor after 9/11, but I did hear of several Sikhs who were. And for those who may not know Sikhs is a faith from India, not the middle east and is not the same thing as Islam.
I do believe that Christians are favored in this country above other faiths if for no other reason than they are always the majority.
