Is it possible that Magoo has been given a compensating extra "gift?" I only say that because I remember reading somewhere that when one loses one of their senses the other ones become more attuned to their particular circumstance. I wonder if maybe sound or something aids this little guy somehow. I know that whiskers act sort of as a guide although I am not exactly sure how that works. Anyone know? No matter what the reason, he amazes me every time I see him. I can only imagine what it would be like to live with him. Give him a scritch for me.

Richard, why do men insist on leaving toilet lids up?! This is getting way off topic but last weekend my little grandson (3 yrs. old) was over and had to go potty. When he walked into our bathroom the seat was up and I heard him say "Uh Oh." (He is used to sitting down for everything). I saw an opportunity to try something new here and asked him if he would like to go potty like his daddy does (standing up) and lo and behold he did. I guess that was one time when it was beneficial.
