I'm so glad you think most dogs would love it! I was concerned that this would be a "project" for the dog and not a joy. I really want this to be fun.

As far as working with the dog, I was planning to get a pup and train her from youth. I would expect that that would take a good two years before the pup would be able to pull anything bearing any weight, right?
