I'm sure there are forums out there like this one, but, more aimed at people with exotic pets like that, too. And, besides a breeder, the internet will be a great source of information on their care. Good luck, I've seen on animal planet that someone had one as a pet. She had to take it to a lady that had a preserve or something, though, as she was no longer able to care for it. It was hard for her to do it, but, she did it because it was the best thing for her pet. I don't know how long they live, but, I know they are a big responsibility. Good luck.
