Here ya go Lori and I hope you all enjoy seeing pics of my RB C-Fer. It has been almost 4 years since he's been gone and I still sometimes call one of my cats by his name, especially my big boy Mooky. Go figure. Missed but definitely not forgotten.

C-Fer around 2 years of age with my son Eric.
Here he is 6 years old.
At 10 years old. In this pic, you can see the stripes on him when he got shaved.

If it were not for the pictures in the 2nd post I would have thought your son and the cat were Siamese twins!
But enough silliness, he was a beautiful cat and obviously tremendously loved.

Oh wow Lorraine, he was gorgeous!!!! Such beautiful fluffy fur and coloring. Looks like he and your son were very close.

He was so handsome and so HUGE! I will never forget the picture you posted of you holding him. I just can't imagine what it must have been like to cuddle that big handsome boy.
It was so neat to look at these pictures and watch your son grow with C-Fer. I know you still miss him and I can see why. He sure is unforgettable. What a handsome boy!
Lorraine if you don't mind could you share that photo of you holding him again. There are so many new people who would probably love to see it. I know I would like to see it again. One more thing, if you don't mind, could you tell us C-Fer's story? How did the two of you come together?
I'm being nosy I know but I've lived with cats for so long that I am too curious for my own good!

Lisa, I would love to share his story again with all of you. A friend of my hubby's had a female that had babies. My hubby kept telling me about this little kitty that was sooooo cute. I said, "NO, no more cats," as I was still grieving from the loss of my first kitty I ever had on my own. My RB Captain. Well he kept talking about this one kitty and I just kept ignoring him. Then I said, unless it's a female, I don't want it. Well one night, I fell asleep on the couch and was awakened by the most cutest little fuzzball I have ever seen. I checked it out and said to the hubby, "This is a male, NOT a female." He said, "Okay, i'll take him back then," and went to reach for him. I said, "Don't you DARE touch my baby." That is how my C-Fer came to be.
From day 1, he would sleep on top of my head every night. But when he got heavier (25lbs) it got a bit too much for me, so he got his own pillow to sleep on beside my head. He always had to have his paw on my shoulder though. He and I had such a bond with each other that I have never had with any of my other cats.

Yes Gary, both my boys grew up with cats and now they have cats of their own. Eric is like me. He can't pass by a cat on the street without talking it.
