Fuzziesngrays, welcome to Pet Talk! I'm david p and I live in Pittsburgh, Pa. I'm owned by Nikki, a beautiful tuxedo kitty, and Daisy, a wonderful tortoiseshell kitty.( who is curled up beside me right now!) I volunteer with Cat Sense, a cat rescue organization in Pittsburgh. Both of my two kitties are rescues. When My siamese Thai went to the Rainbow Bridge at the age of 22, I went looking for another companion. Cat Sense was having an adopyion day at Petco, and there I saw Nikki. They kept telling me that she was so shy and wouldn't respond to anyone, until I came along. She was abused and her former "owner" (I use the term loosely) just kept feeding her until she got fat and never groomed her or even gave her the care she needed. Nikki chose me that day! Then after I had Nikki for a while, I decided to adopt Daisy, Now she was kicked around as a kitten (literally!) and now both have a FOREVER home with me. If i want to adopt again, I would aoopt an older cat, because it seemsthat everone wants a kitten, and alot of older ones get overlooked. Sorry I got long winded!
