One lost cat in our subdivision came home 5 hours after I suggested that, he had been gone for 2 weeks.

Have you put up posters, an ad in the paper, called the shelters in your area, stuff like that?

I don't think my dad would want to. Where we live there is a highway behind us and a busy road for Garbage trucks go on. He thinks Kally got hit on one of them. About a month ago, a friend of mine put signs up for their cat and they never heard from anyone.

Still saying prayers here in Kentucky that Kally comes home. I know you must be worried sick but it's never too late. Prayers on PT on answered all the time.

It's just I hate it when a cat goes missing, as we all do.

I don't know if you heard the story about the time our Mittens went missing, so i'll tell you a short version of it.
We figured he had gotten out when someone was putting the garbage out. It's not the first time he has done that, but within an hour he would be back home. Well not this time. After a month, I figured we would never see him again. But on the 48th day that he had been missing, at 2 in the morning, we heard this cat meowing outside our bedroom window. I thought, no it can't be and low and behold, it was our Mittens. Skinny, full of fleas and some minor injuries that were all taken care of.

Since I live in a city, we are surrounded by busy streets with garbage trucks, buses and fast cars. So I thought for sure he had met his demise by one of them, but he didn't.

So that's why I say, "Keep the faith" as you just never know my dear.

Kally and you are still in prayers.

No sign of Kally.

I think I am going crazy now. I was in my room at about 8:30pm just thinking about him and I thought I heard a meow outside of my window. I couldn't see anything out of my window because it was dark. So I go outside, grab Duke, and start calling for him. No sign though. It problly the wind or somthing.

The more and more I think about him the more I think of more I think sad thoughts. Like him being hit or killed.

That was a great story rg_girlca. I hope that happens with Kally.

mina'smomma~ I don't know of any shelters in our area. I pretty sure there are any close. I will keep you all updated.
