Dixie, I had it both ways. When Dr. Robinson did Honey's surgery, he kept her overnight and I picked her up the next morning. With Lilly, he told me that if she woke up ok, I could come and get her so I could watch over her. That was one sick girl....lots of throw ups for 24 hours and hardly could lift her head. I think they keep them many times so we don't have to see them when the anesthesia is wearing off. Honey was almost like her old self by the time I picked her up! I'm sure she was just as sick as Lilly, I just didn't have to witness it. But I wasn't there to comfort her either .

Your girl will be fine, and so happy to see you tomorrow!! Call and check on her too! That will make you feel better, I'm sure.
