I used to have the same problem with my cat's bag of food. He would open the bathroom cabinets where I kept it and he'd dig in whichever way he could figure out. Sux 2 not have opposable thumbs.

Then one day when I went to buy his next bag of Science Diet, I saw a tupperware container at Petsmart that holds 10 lbs of food. This thing has been a lifesaver.

I have the one without wheels.

One time about 7 years ago, my miniature Yorkshire Terrier dog was being nawtee when I was at a football game with my friends. I had a huuuuge bar of symphony chocolate on my desk. He hopped up on the chair and hopped on the desk and ate about a full ounce of chocolate. My mom was in her bedroom and she kept hearing his little collar jingling nonstop for about 5 minutes. She went in there to see what the heck he was doing. He was on top of my bed, rubbing his face on the comforter, going in circles over and over and...

We called our vet and he had us feed him a tablespoon of Hydrogen Peroxide to induce vomiting. That was *such* fun :rolls:.

He was one pooped lil doggie after that scenario. When he was done vomiting, he just went and plopped his head down on my mom's leg where she was sitting on the floor as if saying: "Don't let me do that again...."
