Born and raised in the Washington DC area (suburbs) but have driven back and forth across country several times...enjoyed the SW the most. Lived in Marin County (North of San Fransico)on a horse ranch for awhile (almost heaven) and traveled overseas just last yr w/ my son to Amsteradam and took the train for a visit through France and Germany. Been to Mexico while visiting my brother in Mission Beach (San Diego... HI JACKIE and a short hop to Canada once. Have a buddy at the Columbia River Gorge area in Washington state where I've spent some time too. Heavenly area. Laurie
