    Oh my!!!!

Yukon Jack is deadly on its own and Jack Daniels is doubly deadly on its own, so this is one DEADLY drink! Absolutely positively NO driving after this one everybody!! Unfortunately the last time I drank Jack Daniels is what taught me that lesson.

However, I had no idea it was time for the bar to open already - this week is going WAY too fast and I have WAY too much to do before we leave. Sooooo....sounds like I need one of these Pan Galactic thing-a-ma-jiggys. Oops, I'm about ready to leave, so can I have it in a to go cup? I promise not to drink it until I get home.....really....I learned my lesson last time. Thanks!

Oh, I forgot to mention, Mario behind bars, is that why they call them monkey bars?

Whats real creepy, Debbie is that you don't even taste alchohol!!! My roomate made one for his after shifter and brought it home, I guzzled half and was like Hmmm that was a tasty soda like thingy!

Then I kind of sat down and drooled for a while...

    Kinda like 'couch basketball'....

have a few drinks and dribble all over yourself.

    Funny story about Yukon Jack.

We'd go to the football game on Sundays and carry a small bottle of YJ in-

    medicinal purposes, ya know.

We put the bottle down below the seat and here comes someone down the aisle to leave......They kick the bottle and you hear it go 'clink, clink, clink' a few seats down......

Everyone stops - Glass bottles in a game are VERBOTEN!!!- my brother reaches down to pick up the bottle, someone in our party says, out loud, "How is JACK????"

To the relief of everyone 'Jack' is OK..

When the bottle kicker comes back to their seat, someone from behind us yells out....LOOK OUT FOR JACK THIS TIME!!!!

God, what an afternoon. I hate working for a living.

Quick, I'll take one of them there DOTD...maybe it will improve my mood.... I've got two hours to go before I can leave so hopefully I'll sober up by then.

    Me? Get drunk? Never.

Gini, I'm still trying to find the oceanview!!!!! I've been staring all day!!!!

Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, champagne in one hand and strawberries in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and screaming WOO HOO - What a Ride!

Those are the most deadly kind of drink available! Especially when they involve Jack and Yukon - whew!

Richard, funny story. Don't mess with Jack!

The second time I went to New Orleans I met a friend there. She came from Florida, me from Wisconsin. We met in the afternoon, got settled in the hotel then went for a drink before dinner. Weeeelll....thanks to those durn Hurricanes down there that taste like cherry kool-aid, we never made it to dinner! Needless to say I think the empty stomachs had something to do with the effect they had on us, but jeepers. I had two of them before I had to go to the bathroom. I stood up - and promptly sat right back down again - whoa! Needless to say the next day I was a bit hungover. We went for lunch and I ordered something with shrimp. Well....the shrimp I got still had not only the shell on it, but the feet, the eyes and even the feelers! I just about lost what little was left in my stomach when I saw those eyeballs looking at me.

Aaaannnyyyway....now that you've heard about two of the worst/best times of my life.....I think I'll have another of those DOTDs, mighty tasty if I do say so myself.

And you know, regarding my comment about monkey bars before, I was thinking about it and we do have a monkey bar right here! You know a monkey (Mario) and a bar (Thursdays). Monkey - Bar. Ok, so much for entertaining myself. I think I'll finish my drink while I listen to them analyzing the debates and I'll see you all tomorrow.

Hey, I think this is my 5,000th post and I couldn't think of anything better than spending it right here with good friends. A round for everyone on me!

Bring on that DOTD! You can't taste the alcohol? That sounds like my kind of drink.............like Richard's slushies...........mmmm all of that lemon and lime.

Let's invent a drink called the Monkey Bar! (I hate to think what will be in it).

Debbie, those legs and eyes on those little shrimpies never bothered me.............I can peel a shrimp faster than anybody you know!

Slick, you can't find the ocean yet??? Geeze, maybe there just isn't one. (Go directly to Slick if you don't understand this comment )

Why are we all so dehydrated? Must be the debates.............
