My husband and I have 2 bassets. Max is a red and white (3 1/2 years old), and Oscar is a tri-color (1 year old). Here are our boys:

I think you are right about basset owners sticking to basset sites. I post at Cyberhound occasionally, but I tend to stick more to PetTalk because it has both cat and dog sections. I'm glad to see more bassets here at PetTalk!
