Hey! He's changing colors like my Basie did!!

Here's Basie when we first got him at 5 to 6 weeks of age (August 02):

He gradually lost all his silver fur, except for his undercoat. Here he is now:


I didn't mean to hijack your thread, but wouldn't it be cool if Mouser changed colors like Basie? I've never seen a cat change and Basie would feel so much better with another kitty like him.
