The Tribe have regular "Gravity Checks (GC)" and "Gravity Emergency Response Tests (GERT)".

GCs are just when simple small things get knocked off the counter or table, ensuring that gravity is still in effect. Performed daily usually around 4 or 5 AM.

GERTs are similar to what Lily has done. Not only ensures that gravity is still in effect, but also tests what you are going to do about it!

Lily's test seems to have been VERY effective!
