I used to own 3 finches awhile back, and I am too looking for finches.

My 2 Zebra fiches were great, my one finch Mabel who was given to me by my 4th grade teacher (long time ago) was a tame finch. She was hand fed as a baby and grew up to be able to be held. It was great having a tame finch sitting on your finger.
But if you want a tame finch then you'll have to find a breeder or something to get them.

My other finch Sally wasn't tame, and never became tame., same as my other one, Pepper.

I think zebra Finches are a relaxing birds to have, I could watch them forever, and i loved there soft chirps. They can be a bit messy when they eat, and their cage gets messy fast too.

there good birds for first time owners.
