Carla, Eli has cerebellar hypoplasia which is basically brain damage from the mom cat not being vaccinated for distemper. He does use his tongue to an extent, but it's hard for him sometimes. I am still feeding Birdie his bottles, it just that he's always so hungry (just like a baby bird) and I want to encourage him to try eating on his own. Hoping his little tongue will get exercise that way as well.
