As much as I love to see them love on other people, it does make me a little jealous--I suppose that's more my problem than theirs though

A couple of months ago, our neice came to stay for the night. She absolutely ADORES my dogs--usually when she comes to stay, she brings her sleeping bag and sleeps on the floor of our bedroom, so she can sleep with all 4 of them--and they love it!! Well, this time, she forgot her sleeping bag, so she stayed in the bedroom across the hall, and asked if they could sleep with her. I told her she could try, but that they'd never stay there all night.
The joke was on me though--Abbey and Kito slept all night with her, and didn't leave her bed until they heard breakfast being served the next morning.
