I am so sorry for your loss of dear sweet Angus. As so many others have said, he was the sweetheart of so many and will be missed by so many of us who came to know and love him through you, your stories of him and pictures of him (and of course, the couple of visits he had to the dog Park in Findlay). If you need anything, give me a call, I can be there in a relatively short time.

I saw this thread, opened it, read a few sentences and then I just had to get up and walk away from the computer.

I couldn't handle any more and I had tears streaming down my face.

Here is this wonderful dog, that I have never met and that lives miles and miles away from me. But, I loved Angus. I along with everyone else that could, would have spoiled him rotten, showered him with more sweet nothings and kisses and treats than he could stand.

I am so glad, Anna, that you just had all of those wonderful pictures taken of your entire family. They will be doubly treasured now.

What is our huge loss, is a moment of incredible joy at the Rainbow Bridge. Everyone is running and jumping and shouting Angus' name - calling him here and there to play and romp in complete health and pain free.

Oh Anna. My heart breaks for you and Mark. I was out all day and came home to three messages from fellow PT'ers, informing me of this heartbreaking news.

I am at a total loss of words right now. I can't even begin to imagine the pain you are feeling right now. Please know that we're all here for you, and will always be here for you, whenever you need us. Angus may have left us, but his memories will remain with us forever.

I'm soo sorry to hear about this He was a very special boy and he knew that you loved him very much. We would do anything for our dogs but sometimes there is nothing left we can do for them and its devestating. I bet Angus had a wonderful life with your family and couldn't have asked for anything more.

I'm so sorry that you had to face this day sooner rather than later. When I heard the news I thought I was prepared to handle it because I have been worried about Angus from before, hence this episode seemed so ominous. Yet, when I saw his pictures posted on this thread, I too *lost it* like so many of the others who has come to know and love this gentle boy. Angus has touched so many hearts around here. He is one fellow who has reached us through his Mom's heart and fingers on her keyboard.

Anna and Mark, we know we can never feel the entirety of your pain, but we know the taste of it from our own losses. It took so much courage and love on your part to let Angus go. We know that and deep down inside you do too. No one could have loved an animal more than you loved Angus.
