LOL, Logan! Yes, he's quite the character. When my friends come over, they're always like, "Where's Yertle? Find him for me, I want to see him!" He's got a little fan club going, LOL!

He has free run of the house. He has a little "swimming pool" in the corner of the kitchen. It has a little ramp, so he can climb in and out as he pleases. He's a funny little guy, and people are always amazed that he will follow me when I get up and walk towards the kitchen (kitchen=fresh tomatoes!).

Yertle is about 4 1/2" across and about 6 1/2" long. (I'm estimating, because I have never measured him, but I'm looking at my ruler and that's about right.) He is an Eastern Box Turtle, and his shell is domed, not flat. He has beautiful bright orange eyes and yellow markings on his front legs (which means he's a boy).

He and the cats live together peacefully. He doesn't seem to be afraid of them at all, and they just seem curious about him. They may sniff him, but that's about it.

I have a framed picture of him that I have been meaning to bring to work so I can scan it and post it here. Hopefully, I'll remember to do this soon.
