It depends on the weather. If the weather is okay, they're normally racing in and out of the house, sleeping on the garden furniture or hunting. They know that if the dog is gone too, that I walk my certain route. They wait for me about 10 houses down the road, and walk home with me if they see me.
If they're at home, they usually sleep in the guestroom or in the studio, or in bed with the dog.
I once came home to find Eddy sleeping in a lovely comfortable bed of toiletpaper. It was about a million little pieces and Rudie was hiding in the cupboard. Guess they had a very productive afternoon! Since then, the bathroom door is locked when I'm out.
