I've become a fan of yellow labs, this is the 2nd one I have had, and they are perfect for me, lazy, and very loving.

My first dog was a Collie, ok, it was great at the time, but it was dumb as dirt, it later suffered from seizures, my aunt had 2 collies, 1 had seizures, the other was always sick... Wasnt till later I learned about how inbred certain dogs can get from bad breeding.
