They will be cutting a half moon shaped piece of tissue/skin/fur from under his eyes on each side. That will be flipped over and attached somehow to where he's missing his eyelids. I'm getting a little nervous now. The vet is just a regular vet, even though he does do a lot of special surgeries. I'm wondering if we should just stick with the eye surgeon?
What would you all do? This vet would be better because of the cost, but also because I'd be there to keep an eye out for him and I'd be able to take care of him. The other vet (eye surgeon) knows exactly what she's doing....and honestly, I feel more confident with that.
