What I'm saying is, if this happened in the States I doubt we'd be posting about it and laughing. It would strike us more as sick and depressing. Instead, people here seem to think it's a real knee slapper.

Why is it funny that they're burying the dead in their wedding clothes and giving them a wedding blessing? We don't know enough about the story...could it have been a suicide pact? Are the parents simply honoring them?

Again, I don't see how two dead people being buried and their family having them in wedding dress and blessed to help cope with their loss as amusing.
