When I come in a room and walk over to Miss Hoppy, and she "hunkers down" to be petted. She kind of flattens out and it's so cute because she knows I'm gonna pet her, and who could resist?

Maybe you hafta own a bunny to understand, but it's very gratifying. I know it's not just her, because I was once at a Petco on a Saturday, when they have lotsa of rescue groups there featuring adoptable animals. The house rabbit folks were there with a big grey bunny - probably twice Miss Hoppy's size. I reach inside his open cage and stroke his nose once, and he completely flattened out in pleasure. The woman said "I see you know the RIGHT way to pet a bunny," so I explaind I was trained my a small brown expert!
