Again, depends on the bird. A lot of tiels do talk, but many don't. They do like to immitate. Popcorn immitates us when we whistle to him, and he immitates the cell phone ringer, as well as Muffin's squacks (which he did not know how to do before but now he's a pro at it), however, he doesn't seem to be interested in talking. He just likes to whistle. Muffin doesn't talk/whistle at all, but most females don't anyway.

I know Logan's Roger talks a lot, and I believe GoldenRetrLuver's Piper barks. My friend's cousin's tiel sings the whole *Mary had a little lamb*!!!
