Phred, his eyes are just fine. No winkin' or blinkin' but now at 10pm he's entering the land of nod.
All evening long he followed me around and begged for food like he hadn't eaten for a week. So me, the weak one, offered him up some "speshal" wet Fancy Feast; only a wee bit mind you. He wolfed it down and literally cried for more, but I waited an hour to see if it would stay down. Low and behold, he was fine so I gave him a little bit more and he has not pawed at his mouth since. I think I'll leave it for now. No e-collar is needed. Meds start tomorrow morning.
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, champagne in one hand and strawberries in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and screaming WOO HOO - What a Ride!
