Tawny gets kisses daily, I make a point of it, on the face, the nose and between her eyes. She really seems to know its love, because she will just snuggle right tight as if she is asking for more. Oh by the way for a dog that doesn't kiss too often the peanut butter on the face works well. I get lots more kisses.
