Spaying and nuetering them is what reduces their musk smell(it reduces the hormones causeing the "musk" smell to be very little) along with clean bedding for them to sleep in. Thanks, never realized that about ferrets. I think they're cute, my husband & I are considering getting one. I still don't understand why some states/cities are trying to make it illegal to own them. IMHO, iguanas are more exotic then ferrets and people have them as companion pets.
