I try to hide anything destructable (feathers on a string / "The Bird" toy, especially) when I'm not around, or else I'll come home and the feather toys will be killed. I find breaking out the feather toy only once every day or every other day helps it last a bit longer. As for smaller toys, I have a bucket I keep them all in, and rotate toys every 2-3 days. I usually leave 3 or 4 at a time out. Tito is an adolescent neutered male as well, and one of his favorite toys (besides ice cubes, paper towel rolls, milk jug rings and twistie ties) is a mouse that squeaks when you touch it! He loves batting that thing around! Here's a link to it, it's called the "Play-N-Squeak Mouse":

They also make a Play-N-Squeak Hedgehog, a Play-N-Squeak Fish, and Play-N-Squeak Mice on wands and doorhangers. I got mine at PetSmart, but you can buy them online too. All those toys on there are great. I want to get them the "Thing in a Paper Bag" next!
