How well I know that feeling, plus I hate to read instruction manuals. The best way to learn is just experiment. I finally figured out how to work the setting for flash/no flash on mine just recently. (Never did open up that stinking manual.) The nice thing about the digital is that there is no wasted film in the process of learning.
