All it takes is one unaltered female to have a litter of 6, and next thing you know you have dozens! Rescuing can be very aggravating, but it also has it rewards!! We've been caring for our colony at the park for over 5 years now, and still maintain a count of around 35 originals (when we first started TNRing there). Usually a ferals life span is around 1 - 2 years.
