Thanks! Yes, I do have quite the selection to choose from which is nice...I am sure that we will find a kitty that we will adore....I just hope that we find one that our cat will adore And I hope that I do all the introduction period correctly so that things go rather smooth for them. I just don't want our cat to become depressed or angry with a new arrival I wish I could just ask her and she woudl tell me if it were okay hee hee

Hi Mercedes and welcome to Pet Talk!!! I think that your cat will probably like having another cat around. I've found that male cats are generally more laid back and loving than females and usually do better in multiple cat households.

I have 4 males named Storm, Sunny, Cirrus, and Sky and they all get along except for Storm and Cirrus. They only tolerate each.

I look forward to hearing more about your cat and new kitten and seeing many pictures of them too. Good luck.
