I saw a photo of a cream pomeranian. I could only see the face and neck and all was cream. What is the sable part of her - could that have been on the body of the dog?

Sable is generally where black hairs are mixed in, (usually called guard hairs) and usually this is found on the back of the dog (or animal) kind of similar to a saddle. But some dogs have it throughout their whole body.
