They need a very special diet that consists of Bramble and or rose leaves. They need misting and need a fairly good sized aquarium. I have owned many different types. I doubt he chewed his own leg off. If your friend new anything about this insect, it's very common if they lack humidity to lose a limb, but it grows back. They can also lose limbs while molting.
He took very good care of twiggy. I think that Twiggy just got sick, and there was nothing we could have done to help him out. However, the doctor we took twiggy to also told us the same thing.
If this person wants to waste their time on the internet picking on pet people they obviously have problems, and it just makes me laugh to think of how immature they are. It's pretty funny actually. Too bad people don't have better things to do.

I'm glad that some of you do care about twiggy and can actually discuss this great stick with me in a proper manner rather than call me a terrible person.
