Try not letting the dog drink anything at least 3 hours before bedtime... and yes on the crate training,,, Crates are a safe haven for them and like it was mentioned before,, they dont genaraly pee in thier sleeping areas.... We have our Dobie crate trained and even have it partially covered at night,, kinda like a birdscage,, lol lol,,, but I understand they like that too... kinda like a cave...... might help with the peeing.....
