Ha! It sounds as though Tracey and I will fight over Slick's uneaten tarts!

Sweets? Well, since I think chocolate is my middle name - it is a family tradition you see...........all sweets are welcome in my home!

My ducks are now in order for me to give my full attention to the planning of the BBQ and preparations.

And the weather for the past few days has been glorious!

Yes, Kelly, it has been hot here - but I have been so busy that I didn't get a chance to check the temperature.

I am just so happy to wake up to sunshine and not the June gloom all morning!

I leave in 10 days (counting today)!!!!!
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, champagne in one hand and strawberries in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and screaming WOO HOO - What a Ride!

My sis in law taught me a new saying...........

It is called the five second rule..........have you ever heard of it?

I had the three year old here and my floor seemed to have grapes, raisins and all kinds of goodies on it.

My sis said - oh use the 5 second rule..........if it has been on the floor for five seconds or less - you can still eat it!

Guess when you guys have your food fight, I will put this rule into effect. HAHAHAHAHA

Rascal is thrilled that my next set of guests are ADULTS! He was really good around the kids though and even slept with them.

ADOPT? Wait a minute, I said I would hold a BBQ - I didn't say y'all could come and live with me

    (certain person[s] excepted).

Now now Gini, Rascal & I were just kidding around. I'd never go anyway for too long without my own furkids. Besides, I have to get down to San Diego and find out what my whack-o brother is up to

Hmmm, I'm staying 4 nights....guess I'd better bring some extra deodrant

Just got back from lunching with a couple of friends who have been down there before. They said not to miss Venice Beach, Rodeo Drive, the Polo Lounge in the BH Hotel and to check out the NY Bagels place on Rodeo Drive. Maybe on Sunday if you think it's worth it.

Well, I will take you there (Venice Beach) but there will be no drooling allowed in my car

Rodeo Drive is it? Leave your credit cards at home!!

Polo Lounge - in all of these years I have never been there - I do think you have to have your teeth whitened to be let in though!

Bagels for breakfast on Rodeo Drive?

    As Richard would say DONE!

Hey - did anyone notice the post from our Mystery Guest???????
