Neko to the vet

We have just returned from the vets. Neko was a good boy, he cried all the way to the office and was screaming so loud that they let us in an empty exam room so Neko could walk around and not be confined in the carrier

He's 13 pounds...up a pound since last year. Got his rabies vaccine, was such a good boy, he didn't even realize he was getting a shot.

The only thing that happened was that he tore a huge chunk of his nose open on the way there. I don't know how he did it Now he has a bloody slice of his nose missing So needless to say, we rode home with him on my lap.

But he's happy to be home and is healthy

Oh poor Neko. That must be extremely stressful for him to have hurt himself like that.

I hope his little nose heals fast and I'm glad that he is otherwise healthy!!

I'm so sorry that Neko hurt his nose. Sunny has also done this a few times and it seems to take forever for it to heal. Now I use a soft sided carrier for Sunny.

I'm glad he had a great check up and that he's healthy though.

That's the thing, he has a soft sided carrier...it's one of those carrier's that looks like a duffle bag. Leave it to my poor Neko to hurt himself

AWWW poor Neko How on earth could he have injured his nose in a soft-sided carrier??? Unless he whacked it with a claw or something...

So happy that he's home safe and sound.

Pssst, Neko, this a purrfect opportunity to milk it for all it's worth. Just stare at Meomie with those eyes and you'll get extra treats. Yum!!

Thanks everybody His nose is doing much better now, the piece that was ripped off is almost the same color as the rest of his nose now
